My name is Elizabeth, and my foundational belief about fitness is simple: Fitness should be an asset that enhances your life, not a burden that consumes it.
As a dedicated certified personal trainer, I specialize in creating programs for busy adults focused on sustainable strength and functional mobility. I am committed to helping you move beyond the temporary allure of quick fixes and fad diets. My mission is to give you the practical, long-term tools needed to build strength, unwavering confidence, and a fitness routine you genuinely look forward to.
My Personal Transformation and Professional Roots
I don't just coach this philosophy—I live it. My journey began with my own successful weight loss of 100 pounds, a success I’ve maintained for over 14 years. This personal experience gives me a deep, empathetic understanding of the dedication, setbacks, and strategy required for true, lasting change.
My professional dedication to the fitness community has been building for over a decade.
I spent five years as a Spin Instructor, mastering the art of high-energy motivation and group coaching.
Concurrently, I managed and ran a specialty running store for five years, where I advised countless athletes on training, gear, and injury prevention.
After a decade of immersion in the industry, I officially launched the Elizabeth DeHart Fitness brand three years ago to focus entirely on personalized, sustainable coaching.
A Foundation Built on Endurance and Education
My commitment to understanding the human body under stress is evidenced by my own endurance pursuits, including the completion of 30 half marathons, 3 full marathons, and a 70.3 Ironman. I bring this firsthand knowledge of goal-setting and long-game training to every client.
To ensure your program is safe, effective, and scientifically sound, I maintain a rigorous educational background:
NASM Certifications: I hold core certifications in Personal Training as well as specialized credentials as a Weight Loss Specialist, Stretching and Flexibility Coach, and Nutrition Specialist.
Advanced Nutrition Coaching: I possess NCI Level 1 and Level 2 Advanced Nutrition Coaching certifications, allowing me to guide you effectively on fueling your body for performance and health.
Specialized Woman's Coaching: I hold the Girls Gone Strong Woman's Coaching Specialist certification, focusing on the unique needs and experiences of female clients.
Ongoing Education: I am currently advancing my knowledge by studying Massage and Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy, integrating a sophisticated understanding of body mechanics, recovery, and pain management into my coaching practice.
Outside the Studio: Living the Balanced Life
When I step away from coaching, I am actively applying the principles of balanced living. I understand the complexities of managing a busy life: I am newly married, have a son about to turn 18, and keep up with two dogs, including my energetic cattle dog, Gidget! You can find me enjoying long hikes with my pups or testing new recipes while experimenting with high-protein baking—a perfect intersection of health and enjoyment.
I'm ready to help you stop dieting and start living. Let's work together to create a powerful, sustainable routine that honors your time and respects your long-term health.
