👩‍🍳 Instructions: Mash, Mix, and Melt!


1. Prep the Meat


  • Brown the ground beef or turkey in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease thoroughly.

  • Once cooked, stir in the Taco Seasoning, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Salt, and Pepper. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Stir in the drained Rotel tomatoes. Remove the skillet from heat and set aside.


2. Create the Creamy Base


  • In a food processor or blender, combine the Cottage Cheese and Cream Cheese.

  • Blend until the cottage cheese curds are completely smooth and the mixture is a creamy, dip-like consistency. This step eliminates the 'curd' texture and makes it magically smooth!


3. Mash It All Together


  • Pour the smooth, creamy cheese mixture into the skillet with the seasoned meat.

  • Stir well to combine everything into a uniform "mash."


4. Bake & Melt


  • Sprinkle the Reduced-Fat Shredded Cheese evenly over the top of the dip.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling around the edges and the top cheese is melted and slightly golden. Alternatively, you can cover and microwave until hot and cheesy.


5. Serve and Devour!


  • Garnish with your favorite toppings (green onion, cilantro, hot sauce).
