This yoga flow is designed to help you unwind and relax during the busy holiday season. It incorporates gentle stretches and calming poses to ease tension and promote a sense of peace.
Warm-up (5 minutes):
Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar): Begin with a few rounds of Sun Salutations to warm up your body and mind.
Cat-Cow Pose (Marjaryasana-Bitilasana): Gently move your spine, alternating between arching your back like a cat and rounding your spine like a cow.
Child's Pose (Balasana): Rest your forehead on the mat and relax your body.
Yoga Flow (15-20 minutes):
Mountain Pose (Tadasana): Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart. Root your feet into the ground and lift your chest.
Warrior I Pose (Virabhadrasana I): Step your right foot back, bending your right knee. Reach your arms up towards the sky.
Warrior II Pose (Virabhadrasana II): Turn your right foot out and extend your arms out to the sides.
Triangle Pose (Trikonasana): Reach your right arm down towards your right foot, and extend your left arm up towards the ceiling.
Reverse Warrior Pose: Reach your right arm up towards the ceiling, and bend your left arm back.
Half Moon Pose (Ardha Chandrasana): Balance on your right foot, lift your left leg up, and reach your left arm back.
Standing Forward Fold (Uttanasana): Fold forward, hinging at your hips.
Half Pigeon Pose (Ardha Kapotasana): Bring your right knee forward and rest it on the mat. Extend your left leg back.
Cow Face Pose (Gomukhasana): Bring your arms behind your back, interlacing your fingers.
Supine Twist (Supta Matsyendrasana): Lie on your back and bring your knees to your chest. Gently lower your knees to one side.
Corpse Pose (Savasana): Lie on your back, relax your body, and close your eyes.
Cool-Down (5 minutes):
Legs-Up-the-Wall Pose (Viparita Karani): Lie on your back and bring your legs up the wall.
Corpse Pose: Return to Corpse Pose and relax your body completely.
